So using my Fluidal framework as the basis, I started the build process.
One of the key requirements was an integrated treatment section (listing the various treatments, who they’re intended for, age group, skin type etc) all linked to a skincare quiz.
With so much information to deal with and the potential of having to maintain duplicate information (which will get out-of-date or simply forgotten about), this could’ve easily become a nightmare to manage.
However, with the clever use of custom taxonomies, custom posts and some very bespoke code, I was able to streamline the backend interface so it became dead easy to manage.
- Responsive, fluid design using my Fluidal boilerplate WordPress theme
- Heavily customised Woocommerce shop
- Bespoke skin type selector
- Easy to update by using normal WordPress posts and pages
