The client already had a self-built website which was proving no longer adequate for his needs and no longer presented his business in a professional light.
So by using the underlying power of WordPress and integrating other useful features such as Google maps, a local weather widget (for the Pick Your Own page) and making the news section a far more prominent feature, the client is now able to easily keep the website up-to-date and inform his customers of special offers and new developments at the farmshop.
Further developments have included creating an active presence on Facebook and Twitter by integrating what he’s already doing on his new website and reusing that content elsewhere.
